The Dispensary of Hope works with healthcare providers, clinics, and pharmaceutical companies nationwide to provide patients with necessary prescription care. We do this largely by distributing unused sample medications--medications that would otherwise be thrown away--to people without prescription coverage. Our goal: 100% Hope, 0% Waste.
Once we receive donated sample medications, we use two programs to provide patients with instant and continued access:
The Instant Access Program
This program gives patients immediate access to select medications at a clinic or pharmacy in our network, filling the gap between diagnosis and long-term prescription assistance. Once patients have a 30-day supply, they can often be enrolled in our Continued Access Program (see below).

The Continued Access Program
This program provides access to medications on an ongoing basis, along with help with managing their prescriptions. Patients only need to fill out our simple enrollment form to get the benefits of manufacturers' prescription assistance programs.
