Vine Hill Community Clinic was established in 1991 as a critical program of the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in order to provide primary healthcare for an underserved population. Clinic patients are card for by family, pediatric, adult and acute care nurse practitioners, Certified Nurse Midwives, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. All nurse practitioners and nurse midwives work in collaboration with physician colleagues.
Vine Hill Community Clinic accepts walk-in patients. For established patients, nurse practitioners are available on call to help patients after hours and on the weekends. The clinic accepts most commercial insurance plans and offers a sliding scale fee for the patients that are uninsured. Vine Hill is committed to serving patients regardless of their ability to pay.
