Vine Hill Community Clinic was established in 1991 as a critical program of the Vanderbilt University School of  Nursing in order to provide primary healthcare for an underserved population.  Clinic patients are card for by family, pediatric, adult and acute care nurse practitioners, Certified Nurse Midwives, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners.  All nurse practitioners and nurse midwives work in collaboration with physician colleagues.

Vine Hill Community Clinic accepts walk-in patients.  For established patients, nurse practitioners are available on call to help patients after hours and on the weekends.  The clinic accepts most commercial insurance plans and offers a sliding scale fee for the patients that are uninsured.  Vine Hill is committed to serving patients regardless of their ability to pay.

Tulane Community Health Center target populations within New Orleans with limited access to primary care.   They accept Medicaid, Medicare and most Private Insurance, but also accept all patients regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

There is a nominal Fee for Service due at the time of the visit for patients who do not have insurance.  If you are uninsured and cannot pay the fee, you can work with a clinic staff member to create a Sliding Fee Scale based upon your income level.

Tulane Community Health Centers are dedicated to serving all patients irrespective of ability to pay.

 Be sure to check out the new reporting screen.  Ordering reports have been updated to incorporate both Basic and Specialty Inventory.  A word on definitions:

"DOH Value"

  • How much DOH draws down from your subscription allowance.
  • This is what instructs your utilization of DOH strategies.

"Market Value"

  • AWP or retail price when an item does not have an AWP i.e. test strips and meters.
  • This is really just an FYI.
