Our commitment to provide medication for people in need is unchanged. Over the past few months we have been monitoring COVID-19 and identifying plans and actions to help mitigate risk. We have already implemented early preparedness response mechanisms, and are now taking additional action.
The top priorities for Dispensary of Hope
-
Safety and protection of employees, customers and the broader community
-
Operational stability - to ensure that patients and our site partners will have access to the medicine that they need
Immediate actions
-
Travel, meetings and in-person meeting restrictions (phone/video meetings will ensure that there is no disruption in service delivery). We will continue to monitor and adjust as needed.
-
Operations and the front-line employees are business critical. Additional redundancy plans are in place to ensure operational stability (training and preparedness for back-up staff)
-
Beginning Monday, March 16, all staff with roles that could be performed remotely will work from home
-
Limiting visitors and third-party vendors at our facility
-
And of course, we are advocating for all our employees and customers/partners to practice good hygiene.
These cautionary measures reflect our commitment to doing all we can to ensure our healthcare supply chain continues to operate as safely and effectively as possible. We will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 outbreak, adjust protocols as needed and provide additional information to customers and partners. We will also continue to adhere to any requirements or protocols at customer/partner facilities.
