Meadville Area Free Clinic Celebrates 25 Years of Service

Located in Meadville, Pennsylvania, Meadville Area Free Clinic has been providing care to the most vulnerable patients in Crawford County and surrounding areas for 25 years. Their growing primary care services include a diabetes management program and a hypertension clinic. In partnership with the Dispensary of Hope for the past 4 1/2 years, they have dispensed nearly 5,000 free prescriptions, including insulin, to patients in need.

It was our honor to host Board Chair and Pharmacist, Beverly Kennedy, and her sister, Amy Shelhamer, for a tour of our offices and distribution center in June 2022. Bev’s dedication to her patients and community was clearly evident throughout our conversations. Despite all the challenges faced over the past three years, she and the entire Meadville Area Free Clinic team have remained devoted to the fulfillment of their mission - providing healthcare and medication access to those who need it most.

We are proud to partner with such a dedicated and inspiring organization, and it is our privilege to support them in the fulfillment of their important work. Happy 25th birthday, Meadville Area Free Clinic! We wish you many more life-changing years to come.
