The Dispensary of Hope Attends Mylan’s National Women’s Health Week Event!

Every year, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office on Women’s Health leads a week-long campaign to raise awareness and encourage women to take charge of their health.  Throughout the week, different events are hosted focusing on the unique health conditions affecting women.  The Dispensary of Hope had the privilege to attend a Mylan hosted event in celebration of National Women’s Health Week and achievements to address women’s unique health challenges.  The Dispensary of Hope’s Chief Development Officer, Anita Stanford, had an opportunity to thank Mylan and to share the important health outcomes for vulnerable female patients through their partnership between the Dispensary of Hope and Mylan. Through Mylan’s generous medication donations, the Dispensary of Hope is able to address health challenges facing uninsured women across the U.S.

Seen on their video matrix below, Mylan highlights the donations and patients helped in Georgia communities.

The Dispensary of Hope is honored to work with Mylan to improve the health of many uninsured and low-income patients.  Since 2012, Mylan has donated more than 125 million doses of product to serve vulnerable patient populations. We are thankful for Mylan’s continuing support of our mission to assist those who are caring for vulnerable patients in need of vital, health sustaining  medication.
